size=2>George Will confused on Social Security shortfall
projections
Washington
Post columnist and ABC News analyst George F. Will falsely claimed that
that Social Security's outlays will exceed income starting in 2011. In fact,
Social Security's outlays are projected to begin exceeding its revenues in
2018, not 2011, according to the 2004 report of the Social Security
trustees.
Memo
to 700 Club's Brody: 7 out of 68 congresswomen is not
"many"
In a report on
a bill that would withdraw the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's approval of
the abortion-inducing drug href="http://www.fda.gov/cder/drug/infopage/mifepristone/">mifepristone,
also known as RU-486 ( href="http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c109:H.R.+1079:">H.R. 1079),
Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) congressional correspondent href="http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/Staff/david_brody.asp">David Brody
asserted: "The co-sponsor list is growing on this bill, including many
congresswomen who say this is all about protecting women" (emphasis
added). Brody's report appeared on the March 11 edition of CBN's The 700
Club.
I am very honest, this is both good and bad, hopefully it'll make it easier and faster for you to decide if you like me. The meek shall inherit the earth. I'm constantly learning and trying to be better and help those around me better. I try not to be materialistic and egotistical. (But..) I'm self-sufficient, own my own house and car, and have my first BS degree. I'm very resourceful and adaptive. I'm very progressive. I wish everyone could be open-minded.
