  TODAY'S BLOG
Institute for Public Accuracy email news release-
"The House of Representatives has begun debate on the "REAL ID Act of 2005"
(HR 418) and may vote as early as Thursday. "
If I recall correctly, this one has a provision to "suspend all laws" in order to stop immigration and immigrants from coming in. Sounds very dangerous and I'd disagree with it for that if not any of the views they presented. The IPA sends out info via email that may take awhile to reach their website headlines, be patient, or just join their mailing list.

Yahoo's "job tip of the day-
"Avoid Being a Pest - While you want everyone and anyone to know of your desire to work for a company, you must avoid looking desperate -- and you must avoid being annoying."
Well, personally, I figure if you think someone's annoying, tell them what you don't like. Yes, it could make them insecure and self-conscious. Or, maybe they don't care, or they decide they'd rather be themselves than change their "annoyingness". But this is really talking about job seeking, which, yes, you need to walk on pins and needles to impress the people/person. I do disagree slightly with yahoo though, if an employer knows you're very interested in their company, I'd think they're more likely to hire you.

Today on the WSWS ---------- 10 February 2005
"Poor, distraught and desperate: Oregon man threatens suicide on floor of state Senate
http://www.wsws.org/articles/2005/feb2005/oreg-f10.shtml"
Very interesting, free/speech very dangerous.
"Lawyer for US deserters speaks with WSWS
"It cannot be irrelevant to a soldier that a war is legal or illegal"
http://www.wsws.org/articles/2005/feb2005/dese-f10.shtml"
Finally, from a spam email I got -
"Don't be in the doghouse this Valentine's Day" -
Yes, this is one of the few days of the year that it's actually good for a guy to be single. Seriously though, why would you wait until a state holiday to show your lover how you feel? Flowers out of the blue and an unexpected vacation to somewhere they like I'd say show so much more.
I will end with a few words of wisdom from Yankerville-
"No, it doesn't really matter . . "

I am very honest, this is both good and bad, hopefully it'll make it easier and faster for you to decide if you like me. The meek shall inherit the earth. I'm constantly learning and trying to be better and help those around me better. I try not to be materialistic and egotistical. (But..) I'm self-sufficient, own my own house and car, and have my first BS degree. I'm very resourceful and adaptive. I'm very progressive. I wish everyone could be open-minded.
