Distortions abound as conservatives lauded Bush's "lean" budgetConservative media figures greeted President Bush's 2006 budget proposal with distortions and omissions designed to support Bush's message that his budget is "lean" and imposes "spending restraint across the Federal Government." In fact, Bush's budget increases overall federal spending by 3.6 percent, and its much-hyped cuts in "non-security" discretionary spending (i.e., discretionary spending excluding defense and homeland security) -- while they will certainly inflict pain on the constituencies they target -- amount to only 0.12 percent of overall federal spending.
Doesn't 00.12% lean mean anything anymore? Well, we know it will to those domestic programs.

Would it have made a difference? The info was already out there about the Bush regime's refusing to up their terrorism awareness and prevention. People just ignored it and voted for him anyway. They were like "Farenheit 9/11?, didn't prove nothing. Just a made up story."

I am very honest, this is both good and bad, hopefully it'll make it easier and faster for you to decide if you like me. The meek shall inherit the earth. I'm constantly learning and trying to be better and help those around me better. I try not to be materialistic and egotistical. (But..) I'm self-sufficient, own my own house and car, and have my first BS degree. I'm very resourceful and adaptive. I'm very progressive. I wish everyone could be open-minded.
