I heard a Palestinian talking and I agree with him on his principle:
It is most beneficial to speak the language of the oppressor and the largest blocks of oppressed people.
I don't have long distance, this is probably an international (Israel) phone number anyway.
I speak neither Hebrew or Arabic, and I have a strong suspicion the source of this email doesn't speak English.
Total immersion in a language is the best way to learn it, ask mom, she learned fluent Italian in not much more than a year. Of course having a guide would make it far faster.
