The answer to this question is simple , but the consequences are severe. It is found in the bible. With the help of the will or testament of God (the bible) we can see and hear, we believers need to stick to the testament of God. Without getting familiar with God's will (the bible) our nights can never be turned into day. The fact of Jesus being the Savior of the world will not be our personal reality until by our faith (trust, reliance and belief) we  cash in and manage it. Like the banks - Jesus has accomplished redemption, justification, many many things on our behalf, even his divine virtues can be ours to experience if we start to cash in on it - Think about it.  Unlike the banks his riches can never deplete.  Now, many of us by faith in him have received the check , we have faith, we believe but are not patient enough to wait for the reality, others love ourselves and this world to the point of not cashing in on what God has prepared . Just to busy with all that pertains to self, the world and the devil.

So shall we grope in the dark, imagining what we see, hear and taste is more real and better than what the Bible has to offer. Remember the movie the matrix? The traitor says I don't care if this steak is not real, I enjoy it, it tastes good, it looks good. God has something better for us my sons -  he really does, please don't get captured again by the cares and riches of this world where the seed of faith can get choked up within you.

                  Thank You for being patient and seeing me through this, the answer to the question is = UNBELIEF.  To not believe is the unforgivable sin that is mentioned in the BIBLE.
